Brief History of the Republic of Hout Bay
Hout Bay is an absolutely unique town situated only 10 miles from the City of Cape Town. It has evolved from a once traditional fishing village to a now ever growing tourist destination and occupies a spectacular valley bounded by the mountains of the Table Mountain massif, Sentinel, Karbonkelberg and Constantiaberg almost isolated from the outside world.
